In our endeavor to give back to the community, we have established a Scholarship Fund with which we try to give college scholarships to deserving Valley students. In order to raise money for this fund, we have two fund raising attempts each year: a Golf Tournament in April and a Fishing Tournament in August.
We currently are providing One Hundred students with $750 each per semester. In order to continue to meet these monetary demands, we have to double our efforts to raise money. It is in this spirit that we ask for your help. Any contribution that you are able to make (i.e.: merchandise for a prize, some sort of service for one of our tournaments or a monetary donation) will be greatly appreciated and most certainly put to good use!
An acknowledgement will be placed in the McAllen Monitor recognizing our sponsors and noting our achievements as thanks for their support and the efforts of our members. This will run in Sunday’s paper sometime in October.
We are a non-profit organization so any donation is tax deductible.
