Registration and tournament activates will be held at the South Padre Island Convention Centre on South Padre Island. Weigh-in will be held at South Point Marina, located in Port Isabel. Registration deadline will be August 11, 2011. Late registration fee is $10.00. |

Tournament Rules |
|
| |
- Every person in the boat must be a current paid RGV API member and be a registered fisherman. 4 fishermen per boat. If any boat breaks down after start time, a different boat may be used with only original team members. 4 people allowed on boat, no additional riders.
- Fishing may start no earlier than 6:00am on August 20th, 2011. Boats may be launched from Port Mansfield's Land Cut south to the Jetties on South Padre Island. Bay fishing only, NO SURF FISHING.
- Weigh-in is from 2:00pm to 4:30pm at South Point Marina. All fishermen must be in line by 4:30pm, NO EXCEPTIONS!
- All Texas Parks and Wildlife Department rules will be observed. ALL OVERSIZE REDFISH MUST BE TAGGED AND WILL NOT BE WEIGHED IN. If an oversize size un-tagged fish or undersize fish is weighed in, all boat members will be disqualified. TP&W Officers will have the official measuring devices at the weigh-in. Please remember the tape measures on ice chest are not always accurate. A TP&W Game Warden will be present at weigh-in to issue tickets for any violations.
- LIE DETECTOR TEST WILL BE GIVEN TO ALL WINNERS
- Professional guides may be used; all guides must be a paid RGV API member and a paid fisherman in the tournament. One licensed guide per boat. 4 people to a boat only.
- All fish must be caught on a rod and reel; no gigging or spearing.
- DECISIONS OF TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS WILL BE FINAL ON ALL MATTERS CONCERNING FISH OR FISHERMEN.
- Each fisherman may only win in one category; except weirdest fish division.
